Gone to the Dogs at Iditarod
Back in the late 70’s, St. Pete Beach resident Connie DuBois first learned of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race; a race run on the freight route from Anchorage to Nome that commemorates the role of sled dogs in the settlement of Alaska. Eventually it landed on her must do list.
